3 Reasons You Could Be Suffering From Dry Eyes?

We received a question from one of our readers that I would like to respond to:

Q: I have been noticing that my eyes tend to dry out during the day.  Is there anything I can do for it?

A:  There could be a few reasons for your dry eyes.  I will cover them below:

  1. Dips in estrogen can reduce secretions in many parts of the body, the eyes included.   This could be a menopause symptom or perimenopause symptom and you should try a natural balancing cream, which will keep your estrogen leveled.  We recommend PhytoProlief and you can find it at www.ihd.myarbonne.com
  2. If you work at a computer during the day, try turning away from it for a few minutes several times during the day and blink a few times.  We tend to keep our eyes open when reading intensively, which causes the tear film to evaporate.
  3. It may be that you just need to lubricate your eyes with eyedrops, however, if you use drops more than 4 times per day make sure to choose one that is preservative-free or the preservative might dry your eyes out even more.
